Savannah is an international commodity trading company, mainly active in oil and gas in Africa and around the world.

Located in the heart of the Swiss financial center in Geneva, Savannah has experienced a strong development since its inception in 2012 and has strengthened its global presence with the opening of offices in Dubai, Dakar and Kinshasa.
Thanks to its African roots and its international experience, Savannah subtly combines a good knowledge of the local environment in the countries where it operates and a global reach that gives it a broad access to the international commodity market.

Through its foundation Motherland, Savannah is committed to giving back to communities in African countries where it operates.

Motherland is thankful to be given the opportunity to contribute to changing the lives of children and women in impoverished areas of Senegal and Mali, with many more countries to come.
The company mainly operates on the West African coast, where, through its close collaboration with various refineries in the sub-region and its alliances with local and international energy players, it operates directly or through various partnerships large volumes of oil products (Naphta, Fuel Oil, Gasoil, Gasoline, Jet) and Crude Oil from or to the international market.

OUR APPROACH
Our approach is to combine strong local presence in Africa with an international dimension.
On one hand we value a strong partnership with the refineries and national companies of the countries in which we operate, a close collaboration with local private actors, a good knowledge of the economic and cultural fabric and a real desire for exchange and sharing with our local partners.
On the other hand, our solid experience in trading and financing, our extensive network of partners in the international commodity trading business as well as our extensive reach on the Geneva financial center and the international market allows us to offer innovative and tailor made solutions to our customers and suppliers.
